A Day in the Life

Campers will participate in a wide variety of activities, experience outdoor
adventures, and learn survival basics while exploring the natural beauty of the
landscape. Campers take part in a set of core activities and are given the
opportunity to select optional activities in both team and individual settings.
Everyone who comes to camp gets to go on an overnight canoe trip!
The Northwest Territories offers some of the best canoe-tripping rivers and lakes in the world. What a great way to finish up as a camper and prepare to become a
Leader-In-Training!
Each ten day camp will kick off with a welcoming circle and community-building in pre-selected groups. That evening, campers choose their week-long morning "focus" from a list of selected activities. A variety of activities are available for campers to choose from. Each day has six periods, which include core and optional activities. This allows each girl to design her own camp program. Camp counsellors are available to help campers select the best activities and make sure each girl gets to try everything they want to do.
During the duration of the camp, daily afternoon "electives" offer many additional choices for educational and recreational fun. Campers enjoy nature field trips, sports, swim and water sport instruction, creative art projects, cultural activities, and games. There is also plenty of time for additional activities or just relaxing during the two daily recreation periods.
